Snowflake Returns: A New Chapter in Nana’s Attic ❄️
Dawn WalkerHello, my friends! ❤️
An old friend is returning to Nana’s Attic, and he’s bringing a brand-new adventure with him!
Remember Snowflake, our sweet little baby seal who helped start the Adventures in Nana’s Attic Storybook Library? This October, we’re visiting him again to discover what happens next.
But first, I want to share a little update from behind the scenes.
❤️ A Little Note from Nana
The past couple of months have been a whirlwind!
Between traveling to visit family, preparing for craft shows, restocking handmade critters, and all the everyday work of running my little crochet business, I’ve gotten a bit behind on our monthly Storybook adventures.
And you know what? That’s okay. Sometimes life gets busy, even in a magical attic filled with yarn! 😂
This busy season also gave me a chance to think about where our stories should go next.
We now have TWELVE Storybook characters. Twelve little personalities, twelve stories, and twelve friends who have already found their way into our hearts.
Rather than introducing someone new every month, it feels like the perfect time to revisit our familiar friends. After all, their first stories were only the beginning!
And who better to start with than Snowflake?
❄️ Snowflake Finds a New Place
In Snowflake Finds a New Place, our gentle little seal leaves the familiar comfort of Nana’s Attic and finds himself somewhere entirely new.
Surrounded by unfamiliar toys, he begins to wonder whether being handmade makes him different from everyone else.
Then a little boy wraps his arms around Snowflake, and something begins to change.
Our sweet seal discovers that love, belonging, and friendship can be found in unexpected places, and that being different can be something truly special.
It’s a gentle adventure to share with your children, grandchildren, or anyone who could use a little reminder that there’s a place for them in the world.

💕 A Little More Adventure for Storybook Club Members
Snowflake’s adventure doesn’t end with the free story!
In the extended Storybook Club edition, a thunderstorm rolls in, and Snowflake discovers that sometimes even the smallest, softest friends can provide the greatest comfort.
Club members can enjoy the longer illustrated story, along with printable activities to share with their little readers.
If you’d love a little more time with our Attic friends, you’re warmly invited to join us.
🧶 Familiar Friends, New Adventures
Beginning in November, we’ll continue visiting our familiar Attic friends, one character and one adventure at a time.
There are still so many stories waiting to be told. I’m looking forward to discovering what comes next for the little personalities we’ve grown to love and sharing those moments with you.
💜 From the Attic
Thank you for being patient with me through this busy season, for supporting my little handmade business, and for making room in your hearts for these wonderful characters.
Whether you’re reading with your children, grandchildren, or simply enjoying a little imagination yourself, I hope Snowflake’s new adventure brings a smile to your day.
Sometimes a new chapter doesn’t mean meeting someone new. Sometimes it means returning to an old friend and finding that there’s still so much more to their story. ❤️
Blessings from the Attic,
Nana Dawn
