🧶 This Week in the Attic: Swimming, Small Critters & Yarn Favorites
Share
💌 Hello, Friends!
I hope this week finds you well. I’ve been spending time both in the water and in the Attic — swimming every day to help loosen my achy shoulder (bursitis is no joke!). A little rest and gentle movement have been working wonders, and I’m feeling grateful for the time to recharge.
🪡 On My Hook This Week
Right now, I’m looking for new patterns that focus on small critters. At upcoming craft shows, I’ve learned it’s always smart to have plenty of under-$20 items ready for shoppers. These little pieces fly off the table quickly — plus, they’re just plain fun to make! 🐸🦉🐝
🧸 Life & Inspiration
While my shoulder has slowed me down just a bit, I’ve been planning in between swims. Sometimes those quiet moments of rest are when the best ideas bubble up. I’m excited to bring a fresh lineup of small, whimsical friends to life soon.
🛍 Tools I Love Right Now
A lot of you ask what yarns and hooks I use most for plush animals. Here are two of my absolute favorites:
-
🧶 Chenille yarn — my go-to for plush critters (so soft and squishy!) → Check it out here (affiliate link)
- ✨ Bright crochet hook set — cheerful, comfy to hold, and covers all my sizes → See the set here (affiliate link)
These are the tools I repeatedly reach for when I’m working on my plushies.
🌟 Until Next Time
Thanks for spending a little time in the Attic with me today! Even though there aren’t brand-new patterns to share this week, there’s always something happening with yarn, hooks, and imagination.
