Adventures in Nana’s Attic Book 3: Coral the Starfish Pillow Story & Coloring Page

One sunny afternoon, dust motes danced like glitter through the attic window. Snowflake the Seal was rolling on the rug, trying to balance a button on her nose. Terry the Triceratops was clattering around the trunk, pretending it was his treasure chest.

“Come sit with me,” called a warm, sparkly voice. On the old chair by the window sat Coral the Starfish Pillow, her arms stretched wide in a welcoming hug.

Snowflake and Terry bounded over.

“What game should we play today?” Terry asked, his tail knocking against the chair legs.

Coral smiled. “Hide-and-seek, of course. But with a twist!”

 “A twist?” Snowflake tilted her head.

“Yes,” Coral said, “since I can’t move much, I’ll be the clever hider. I’ll hide things instead of myself. Buttons, yarn balls, and shiny marbles from the trunk.”

And so, the attic was filled with laughter as Terry and Snowflake searched high and low.

Snowflake peeked under the rug, Terry nudged open the trunk lid, and together they discovered Coral’s hidden treasures.

By the end, their paws and fins were full of sparkling finds, and Coral laughed.

 “See? Even if you can’t run or jump, you can still be the best hider with a clever idea!”

Snowflake cuddled close, Terry gave a cheerful roar, and the three friends agreed: every critter in Nana’s Attic had their own special way of making playtime magical.

As the laughter faded and the attic grew quiet, Coral whispered with a sparkle in her voice:

“Tomorrow’s game might be even wilder… I heard a soft growl from the corner. Could it be a new friend?”

Snowflake’s eyes went wide.

 Terry perked up his horns.

 And from behind the trunk, a striped tail swished.

“Get ready,” Coral giggled. “Benny the Bengal Tiger is about to pounce into our adventures!”
