A Little Batty in the Attic This Week! 💜

Dawn Walker

🦇 When the Yarn Runs Out, the Bats Come Out!

I had big plans to fill the Attic with a forest of crochet mushrooms this week… but I ran out of yarn after the very first one! 🍄 Instead of stalling, I switched gears — and out flew a brand-new idea.

Now the Attic is fluttering with crochet bats — both baby bats and flying bats that hang from ribbons on porches or ceilings. They’re soft, whimsical, and just a little spooky — the perfect touch of handmade Halloween magic.

🎪 Craft-Show Countdown: Murrell’s Inlet

We’re just over a week away from the American Legion Fall Craft Market in Murrell’s Inlet on October 25 !
My craft table is filling up with small critters, bats, and a few surprise friends ready to fly home with new owners.

If you’ll be at the show, come say hi — and see if one of the baby bats chooses you!

💬 From the Attic

One mushroom turned into a whole colony of bats — and honestly, I couldn’t be happier. That’s the beauty of handmade — every project has its own way of taking flight.

Blessings from the Attic,
Nana Dawn
