As the calendar turns and a new year begins, the Attic feels calm and full of quiet promise. Not the loud, confetti kind of promise — but the gentle kind that comes from turning the page slowly, with gratitude for what’s been and hope for what’s ahead.

The past season in the Attic has been full of stories, stitches, and shared moments — new critters finding their way into loving homes, storybooks being read and colored, and so many kind notes and messages from this community. Each one has been a reminder that what we’re building here is more than crochet. It’s comfort. It’s connection. It’s something made with care, meant to be held onto.

📚 A Cozy New Corner of the Attic

As this new year begins, I wanted to share something I’ve been quietly working on behind the scenes — a gentle way for families who love the Attic stories to enjoy a little more of them together at home.

It’s called the Nana’s Attic Storybook Club.

Each month, the Storybook Club will include:

• A printable Attic storybook
• Matching coloring pages
• A small bonus activity, created especially for little hands and cozy moments

The Attic Library will always remain free to read online.
The Storybook Club is simply for families who enjoy printing, coloring, and keeping the stories as part of their home library.

Right now, I’ve opened a simple interest list for anyone who would like to learn more and see if it feels like a good fit — no pressure at all.

🛷 Nana’s Sleigh Update (Oops!)

A wild windstorm recently sent a large branch straight into Nana’s sleigh (aka my car), causing some serious damage. So Nana is temporarily grounded while the sleigh gets an unexpected makeover.

Delivery magic is on pause for a bit… but Attic magic never is. And honestly, the timing feels like a reminder I needed. Sometimes life slows us down so we can catch our breath, reset, and step forward with fresh eyes. One stitch at a time feels especially fitting right now.
